Spanish artist Fer Ilustrador has painted this excellent portrait of Rod in his series of amazing music and film legends, we thought it was brilliant work.
Talking about Rod Fer says: He reminds me of adolescence, great groups, great singers, and Rod was one of those great singers, it was difficult not to love his songs, and it is that he had a particular voice, unique, agupendous, claws, and that over the years his voice has matured like only good wine usually does.
After a while away from the musical atmosphere he had a great turn around, I think it was about 7 or 10 years ago, he had a comeback as only a great singer would do it, big time, and did it performing music of the 50, 60, beautiful songs, like What a Wonderful World.
Reminds me of the time in my dear Cusco, when even at that time rock (in English and Spanish) prevailed and the disco or party you attended just danced these beats, me accompanied by great friends, trying to conquer girls, sometimes successfully and many more times without success, but still, we had a great time.
