Classic Pictures’ Announce The Launch Of The New DVD-EP Series which feature Rod.

Based at Shepperton Film Studios, UK, Classic Pictures produce and release music titles on DVD and CD. Following a string of feature-length DVD releases from artists such as Leon Russell, JJ Cale, Rick Wakeman and Emerson, Lake and Palmer, ‘Classic’ announce the launch of the initial titles from their DVD-EP series, which will be available from September 2002.

The affordably priced DVD-EP’s feature live studio performances of the greatest hits of some of the biggest names in rock and pop music. All footage is from the German TV show ‘The Beat Club’. Each EP will also include several special features, which can be accessed via a fully animated menu.

The ‘Jukebox’ feature enables the viewer to select various other audio-visual tracks by relevant artists.

The ‘Trailer’ feature enables the viewer to select samples of other titles available in the series.

The ‘Profiles’ section provides useful information on each band.

The ‘Audio Options’ section provides a choice between 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound and Stereo.

ALSO………

It is widely rumoured that VH1 are to release a DVD showing Rod’s 1998 appearence on the programme ‘Storytellers’ which was exclusive to VH1 only. If it does reach the stores it is believed that there may be extra footage on the disc which was not shown on TV.
To date VH1 have released Storyteller DVD’s by Billy Idol, Matchbox Twenty and Meatloaf.
