SMILER is pleased to announce we have a new US correspondent,
We felt that with the new team we have built it would be a great help to have a member based in the US,
We asked Donna Manus if she would consider taking on the role and she accepted,
Donna has helped out with things in the past and told us she would like to try and build up the US community that don’t get to involved at the moment..as we can be a bit British!!
Donna will also be keeping her eyes and ears open for US stories that she thinks I should be posting, anyone who lives in America or Canada and has something they would like to share please contact Donna and she will make sure we hear about it.
We asked Donna to introduce herself, and this is what she said..
Hello SMILER’s …my name is Donna Manus and I’m now part of your SMILER Team. I live in Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA, and if that place sounds a bit familiar, it was the town mentioned in the John Wayne classic “True Grit”. I am truly looking forward to assisting the best Rod Stewart fan club in existence. I came to SMILER many years ago when Rita (RIP sweet lady) was the USA secretary. I’ve been a regular haunt on here for quite some time now. I’ll be serving as your USA correspondent and will do my best to keep all Rod persons as up to date as possible with news, general information, reviews, and anything else that concerns Rod. I do have one small request please…if you are reading this and have been shy about posting, please quit worrying about it and give it a go. We love to see new names posting messages and we’d love to hear from you !
