SMILER is pleased to announce the 2017 TARTAN Party.
This year it will be held at The Blues Bar & Grill in Leicester on 30th September 2017, and kickoff [Or opening face off as we are calling it this year!] is 7pm and the entertainment will go on until 2am.
Once again it will be solid Rod with our very own Pete The Red playing music from all eras of Rod’s career. And this year we are very proud to welcome direct from his hit ‘Some Guys Have all the Luck’ tour, Paul Metcalfe and his fantastic Band who will be playing a special not to be missed set.
This year’s charity is The Coventry Blaze Community Foundation and as usual we will have some fantastic prizes to win in our raffle and auction.
The Blaze Community Foundation runs alongside Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Club providing community work and sporting opportunities to children and young adults of all abilities within the Coventry and Warwickshire area. Their aim is to promote not just ice hockey, but sport in general. They work closely with several organisations throughout Coventry and Warwickshire to help improve participation levels across all sports and give many children the opportunity to try sports such as ice hockey.
Mike is asking anyone who will be ordering tickets before September 1st 2017 to send in the names of each ticket holder to [email protected] as we will do a prize draw to win signed by Rod art prints, and thanks to Don Stewart, someone will win a personal dedicated print. Winners will be notified on the night, If for any reason the winners are not in attendance don’t worry.. if we have your name you will get your prize.
For any members who wish to stay overnight, we have also done a deal with the Holiday Inn Express situated next door to the venue if you would like to book in the hotel.
We have put on hold 50 rooms in total (a mixture of doubles and twins).
The rate per room is £79.00 which includes all taxes, breakfast, free car parking, and free WiFi.

On booking you will be asked to provide bank card details to secure the booking. Payment will be taken upon arrival.
