Record Collector magazine feature an exclusive interview with Rod in which he reveals the story behind the new album!
Just under 40 years ago, Rod played his first gig in Twickenham, on the outskirts of London. Since turning pro shortly afterwards, he’s rarely travelled in any direction other than upwards. His recent greatest hits album, The Very Best Of, sold two and a half million, for example – but hardly anyone ever seems to ask him about his music these days, focusing more on the blondes and the glamorous lifestyle. Rod himself called this feature “the best interview I’ve done in years”.
