It has been reported today that Rod has started work on his own reality show, Rod and Penny are said to have agreed a deal with US network E!.
A source told the Daily Mirror: The family have already begun filming the part-scripted series at their Los Angeles home – and the show will air in June.
‘Rod is very proud of his family and he wants to show everyone that. He will star very much as the dad, and it will show he has kept things together.’
Two of Rod’s children Sean and Kimberly – from his marriage to Alana Stewart, will have ‘prominent’ roles in the show.
Their half-brother Ashley Hamilton and his father, Hollywood actor George Hamilton will also appear.
The source added: ‘Sean has a very prominent role as does Kimberly. There will be some ups and downs but they are keen to show that the Stewart’s are close and they enjoy themselves.
