Prince’s Trust Rod and Penny portrait

This is just stunning!

Darren Baker has become one of the UK’s most well known and collectable artists of the 21st century. A perfectionist who has, for most of his life, been developing techniques to create a form of realism comparable to photography.

Over the years, Darren has produced an impressive portfolio of art, which grace many prestigious public and private collections, including 10 Downing Street, The House of Lords, St James’s Palace and the Bahrain Royal household. His celebrated works are becoming increasingly sought after by art collectors around the world.

His latest amazing portrait is of Rod and Penny that was officially endorsed and approved by the couple.

All proceeds from this drawing will go the magnificent Prince’s Trust

Talking about his portrait Darren says ‘Since HRH set up the trust in 1976 the organisation has gone on to help and improve the lives of over a million young people. The charity was way ahead of its time in tackling mental health and giving confidence and support to young people needing hope and love.I was a beneficiary of The Prince’s Trust t upon leaving art college, and have seen the incredible work they do to improve lives. I’ve always remembered that and given back with my artwork for auctions and workshops and now honoured to be an ambassador for the charity. I met Rod and Penny at the 35 year anniversary of the charity at Clarence House. Lovely down to earth couple. ‘How u doing son’ Rod said, and then we had a good old natter and he signed a card for my mum’
