Rod has donated money to a fund set up following the tragic death of Glasgow Rangers supporter Ryan Baird.
Mr Baird, died after the Nith Valley Loyal Rangers Supporters’ Club bus he was travelling on crashed at Crossroads roundabout on the A76 near to Kilmarnock last Saturday.
As soon as Rod heard about the accident he contacted Rangers legend Richard Gough to show his support.
In Rod’s message to Richard he said: “At sad times like this we are one big football loving family. RS(Celtic).”
