A new Rod dedicated radio station debuts on september 30th
SiriusXM will launch Rod Stewart Radio on Channel 30.
The limited-run channel will feature music from throughout Rod’s five-decade spanning musical career, including his early days in Faces and The Jeff Beck Group up to previews of new tracks on Blood Red Roses, his 30th studio album out Sept. 28 on Republic.
Rod Stewart Radio will feature hits, live songs, rarities and b-sides, as well as exclusive stories from Rod about his music, touring and life.
Rod Stewart Radio, which will run through Sept. 30, follows other limited-run SiriusXM stations devoted to such acts as U2, The Beach Boys, Dave Matthews Band, Phish and Billy Joel.
SiriusXM has approximately 33.5 million subscribers, according to the radio company.
