Rod and Penny officially open a new chemotherapy day unit at Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth.
They are both long-standing supporters of the treatment centre at the hospital, which is owned by Ramsay Health Care.
The event on World Cancer Day (Monday, February 4) officially unveiled the additional facilities for cancer sufferers.
Rod and Penny both signed the message wall with Rod referencing his 1981 recording ‘Never Give Up On a Dream’
