RONNIE WOOD is in mourning after learning his first wife has died of a suspected drug overdose.
Ex-model Krissy Wood, who has a 27-year-old son with Ronnie and was married to him from 1971 to 1978, was found dead on a sofa in a friend’s London flat.
Friends believe the newly-single 57-year-old accidentally overdosed on Valium she was taking to combat her depression, writes British newspaper THE SUN.
A friend told the publication, “Krissy was really upset – as low as I have ever seen her. I woke up and saw her slumped on the sofa. I rang 999. The ambulance crew said it looked like an overdose. She has died far too young.”
Ronnie is said to be “devastated” by the news.
