Twenty-two year-old, Little Rock-based rapper, Kari Faux, pays homage to Rod’s classic “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” video .. feathered hair, grainy TV footage, lingering glances are all included.
Kari first got the Internet’s attention a year ago with her debut mixtape, Laugh Now, Die Later, and since then the young artist’s caught the eyes of Childish Gambino, who collaborated with her on a remix of mixtape track “No Small Talk” and appeared in her video, “Gahdamn.” Now managed by Childish and his manager, Kari’s is set to release a new EP, Lost En Los Angeles, and the record’s lead single, “Supplier” features this fantastic video.
