Ferrucio was always a sports car aficionado and owned many high-end cars like the Ferrari. After he bought a Ferrari, he went to the car manufacturer listing the things he thought should be amended. Ferrari didn’t take him seriously, so he took it upon himself to create his own version of a super car, and so the dynasty was born.

The company was founded in 1963 and created the first mid-engine sports coupe, the Miura, in 1966. The Lamborghini’s sleek and exotic designs have been driven by many rockstars, but none coveted more than Rod Stewart.

In 1971 Rod Stewart ordered the right-hand drive SV shown here. He specified a bright yellow finish with dark blue leather seats. He also ordered other top of the line features like air conditioning, and a Phillips radio/cassette player with a recording function. Only 142 Svs were made, nine of which were right-hand-drive.

When he sold his beloved car in 1985, there were marks from stiletto heels in the headliner. Those who know about the Lamborghini know the interior is not the roomiest area for certain extra-curricular activities. Having said that, the inside of this car probably saw more models that a runway.
