Rod surprised fans last night by performing an Irish folk song during last night’s Las Vegas show.
Rod sang an amazing version of Grace during the first night of his residency in The Caesars Palace Colosseum
The song was written about Grace Gifford who was active in the Republican movement.
She married her fiancé Joseph Plunkett in Kilmainham Gaol only a few hours before he was executed for his part in the 1916 Easter Rising.
The song is a favourite with Celtic supporters group The Green Brigade who always do a word perfect version themselves.
Last year, Rod’s daughter Ruby sang the song with her band The Sisterhood during a Lisbon Lions tribute show at the SSE Hydro.
