Last week Sue Darcy posted a fantastic version of Reason To Believe by Molly Poole on our Facebook page but not only was it was a great version but it also had new lyrics, we contacted Sue who told us it was done for charity, so in her own words here is the story of ‘Reason to Believe’ [People Like Us] by Molly Poole, The new version.
Six years ago on 3rd January 2012 my sister, Karen Bryant, lost her fights to Cancer at the age of 52. I have produced a recording with friends and family in her memory. Karen was the biggest Rod Stewart fan in the 1970’s and this classic cover ‘Reason to Believe’, with my words, will hopefully mean something to everyone. My 17 year old daughter is on vocals and my sisters son Jim Bryant is on ukulele. Available on Amazon, Spotify, iTunes etc and YouTube with all the proceeds going to CRUK. I have been given the copyrights from Sony/BMG for Worldwide exc USA but I am waiting any day now to hear from Spirit Music in USA to confirm that I will have the rights for America to.
