Rod’s book signing in Glasgow on Saturday attracted many SMILER members including Pauleen McNish who gave us her verdict of the day..
What can I say A-MAZ-ING! Rod was his usual charming self, I showed him the picture of myself and him on stage in Vegas and he signed it for me as we chatted about it!
I have Been so lucky to see him in Vegas 2 nights and again at his Christmas show in Stirling Castle. I am proud to wear my Smiler badge in order to show Rod my support to him and the fan club! A lot of very happy people in Glasgow on Saturday, meeting Rod made standing out all night in the freezing cold worth while!
Two other very well known members were also spotted posing for the camera Rod’s brother Don and Bob Wyper who many members will know from his brilliant Rod tribute show, Who talked about the famous SMILER party’s,
Rod told Bob he was looking good, so Bob gave Rod a new Tartan pride Retro SMILER badge to go with his Celtic style one!
As in Epping Rod’s son Alastair was still sporting his favourite new Celtic hat knitted for him by SMILER member Vicky Marrow
