Katja Rieckermann Releases a New Song ‘Vigilante Kat’

Former Saxophone Player for Rod’s band Katja Rieckermann released a new song and video this week also putting out a strong statement.

In her brand-new song VIGILANTE KAT, which has been released at the same time as the official video, Rieckermann tackles a constantly present social theme – violence against women.

The video, which had its world premiere on the musician’s official Youtube channel on 7 May, is dedicated in very impressive images to raising awareness of the prevention of violence against women.

“Through this song, I would like to draw attention to this topic, which is very close to my heart, and to raise awareness among everyone. The idea for the video came from Director Paul Gervasi. The whole shoot was done on only one evening and I am very impressed by the result and I am curious how it will be felt by the audience,” Rieckermann said
