Rod was one of the many special guests who chatted to Clive Davis as part of this years Pre-Grammy Awards
Other A-list guests who appeared on the invite only webcast included Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Barry Gibb, Carole King, John Legend, Jamie Foxx, Chance the Rapper, Sean Combs, David Foster and Rickey Minor.
Clive asked Rod “What was ‘Maggie May’about?” Rod answered with the story of how he lost his virginity by being pulled by an older woman into a tent for a quickie, which “lasted about three seconds, and I left a nasty stain behind.”
While Rod was talking one of his pet dogs tried to get in on the act “He’s an absolute bloody nuisance, Clive”, Rod shushed his dog “Would you shut up? I’m talking to Clive Davis!”.
