Wrinkly crooner Rod Stewart has confirmed that he is currently negotiating a contract that could see him taking on a singing residency in Las Vegas.
Stewart plans to talk over his plans with former Las Vegas resident Sir Elton John.
According to Handbag.com Stewart said: “It’s something I’d love to do.
“I’ve come to see my old pal, Elton, and also to indulge in the odd negotiation.”
Stewart has been asked to perform at the MGM Grand in April, he has been asked to name his price for a one or three year performance schedule.
Nice work if you can get it…Stewart was recently ordered by a court to pay back a £1.7million advance to a Las Vegas casino after he cancelled a New Year’s Eve performance.
