It was announced today that Robin Le Mesurier has died aged 68 after a battle with cancer.
All visitors to SMILER will know of Robin’s work with Rod after joining the RSG in 1981 and his work with French legend Johnny Hallyday, he also joined Rod, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones, for the Faces reunion in 2015.
Rod took to social media to pay tribute to Robin writing: ‘A rock & roll soul, rest in peace my dear friend.‘
Robin was a great friend and supporter of SMILER and featured in two in depth interviews and also helped on our current issue 100 earlier in the year, he will be greatly missed.
