The Sunday Mail announced The Rolling Stones are set to play two gigs in Glasgow.

The Scottish newspaper The Sunday Mail today announced The Rolling Stones are set to play two gigs in Glasgow in September and the venue they are hoping to play is the 8500 capacity SECC. The Stones last played Scotland in 1999 when they played to a sold out Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh-Earlier on this week Woody and Keith Richards were nearly arrested when they were spotted smoking on stage during their gig at Madison Square Gardens in New York, They were to be served with a police summons by NYC mayor, Mike Bloomberg, who introduced the no smoking legislation, But Ronnie and Kieth nipped out of the back exit before the police could serve the writs.
