Congratulations to Rod who has achieved his 10th number one solo album in the UK Album charts with ‘You’re In My Heart’ with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
It has been a close run race throughout the week but Rod’s latest album climbed one place to the top, while nearest rivals Robbie Williams’ The Christmas Present and The Who’s WHO, settle for Numbers 2 and 3 respectively.
Rod has also jumped from number 12 to number 1 in the Irish album charts following his two sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena on December 4 and 5.
On his latest number 1 album Rod told OfficialCharts.com, “A new government and and a new Number 1 for Sir Rod. Thank you once again to my legions of fans who I will never take for granted. Bless you all and a Merry Christmas. Well done Robbie, well done Boris, no hard feelings Pete Townshend.”
