Rod’s new album ‘You’re In My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ is released this week promoting the album Rod said this week that the title song was written on the day that Elvis died
Speaking about his 1978 hit ‘You’re in My Heart’ Rod said: “There’s a sad story attached to You’re in My Heart because I wrote that the day Elvis died.
“I was in Canada and we were just laying down the track and it was on the television in the studios,So every time I think of that song when I wrote it Elvis crops up.”
This story gives us a chance to show the great cover for the 1983 album ‘Body Wishes’ that took its cover inspiration from The King.
