Blood Red Roses..Target get Exclusive track

Do you want the 17th track?

Target stores in America will be selling a special 17 track version of Rod’s new album ‘Blood Red Roses’, The 17th track that will not be available on any of the UK versions is a track called ‘Priceless’..and before you ask it is not the 1981 Ronnie Wood song of the same name but is in fact a brand new track co written with Emerson Swinford.

We have some good and bad news for our UK members, The bad news is Target will not post out to the UK so it is going to be hard to get hold of..The good news is thanks to Dan Pereira who does the Collectors Corner in SMILER Retro, we have 3 copies for you to win and all you have to do is register your interest by leaving your name under the Target Special Edition post on the SMILER message board..Please make sure you leave your full name.

And please for obvious reasons can we keep this to UK and European members, every name that is registered will be put in a draw and 3 winners will be drawn out.

Pictured is Rod on the promotional trail for ‘Blood Red Roses’ during his interview with ABC Radio’s Andrea Dresdale who is one of the most prolific pop star interviewers in radio.

Andrea told SMILER “I interviewed Rod after seeing him perform at Madison Square Garden the previous night, and he was extremely enthusiastic about the new material from “Blood Red Roses” he’d added to the set, especially the song “Grace,” which he says he particularly enjoyed singing live. He also marveled that it was his 33rd time performing at the Garden, including a gig with the Faces.”
