Some of the SMILER team have been out and about watching the show on this tour, I attended a rainy Tuesday night show in Buxton this week and Paul had no trouble getting the well attended but usually very reserved Buxton Opera House crowd up dancing and singing in the second half of the show.
A personal highlight for me was Paul singing the proper version of ‘This Old Heart Of Mine’ like Rod used to sing it, The band are also fantastic!
Yve Paige went to the show when it was in Edmonton and said “Paul Is a top Rod tribute, If you close your eyes he sounds like him even when he’s talking! The show is amazing”
And Don Stewart [Pictured with Paul] Checked out the show in Potters Bar he told me “I thoroughly enjoyed the show, I hope I don’t upset the others.. but I have seen some Rods in my time and Paul is the best I’ve seen..I was really glad I went”.
