Rod and Penny along with Idris Elba, Melanie C, Prince Harry and William were amongst the high-profile celebs that attended a charity day earlier today that was run in memory of those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks on the Twin Towers.
Celebrities brokered big-figure trades at BGC Partners in Canary Wharf, after the organisation lost 658 employees in the attack on the World Trade Centre 12 years ago.
All profits from the trades during the course of the day are donated to good causes, including Prince William’s SkillForce and Prince Harry’s WellChild organisations.
SMILER member Philomena Attridge [pictured] met up with Rod at the event and Rod told her that he has had confirmation that the Glasgow Hydro gigs will go ahead after the recent fire put the concerts in doubt.
