SMILER would like to congratulate Rod’s big brother Don who has been honoured by the FA for 50 years’ service to football.
After playing for clubs in the South East such as Willesden and Cheshunt, Don put in the hours as a coach and administrator and became a referee in 1981.
Despite a triple heart bypass, Don still refs local matches, as well as celebrity games organised by Rod
As all our members will know Don has been a keen supporter of SMILER for many years and we are sure you will all want to congratulate him in this amazing milestone
