We are sorry to inform our members that long time SMILER member and lifetime Rod fan Jan Thurnell of Dagenham Essex has passed away aged just 46 years old after a long illness on Thursday.
Jan had many friends here at SMILER and we would like to pass on our condolences to her friends and family.
Our thoughts are with her Daughter Carly, other Family, best mate Sindy, Boyfriend Neil, and anyone else fortunate enough to meet or befriend her.
She attempted to never allow her illness to stop her, and she still managed to attend Hyde Park Calling less than 2 months ago to see her beloved Rod, with a smile on her face and not a complaint of her situation.
