Rod called in yesterday to meet the cast of smash hit musical Million Dollar Quartet
Rod had already seen the show in London’s West End and was reportedly so impressed by the young cast that he had to go back to the theatre to meet them in person!
Rod commented “Rock ‘n’ Roll at its purest – a wonderful night out! Very authentic and the standard of musicianship extremely high. I had a ball!!”
Ronnie Wood has also seen the show that tells the true story of Sun Records founder Sam Phillips and the night his ‘million dollar quartet’ of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis played together for the first and only time.
