Rod’s continuing sore throat has forced him to cancel more U.S. concert dates.
Rod’s camp have said today – “Rod Stewart has a throat infection and went to the doctor who prescribed antibiotics and 4 days of complete vocal rest. Ignoring the doctor’s advice, he attempted to go through his normal warm ups yesterday but it was impossible,”
“Particularly frustrating, is that he had to cancel the last show of a 16 date run.”
Tulsa on Thursday was a last minute cancellation and it is also reported that shows on Saturday evening in Burgettstown, Pa. and the final scheduled performance in Virginia Beach, Va. on Sunday, August 22 have now also been cancelled.
