Ronnie and Glyn on new album

Ronnie and Faces producer on Stu tribute

Ronnie Wood and Faces producer Glyn Johns have been working on a new album that will be released on April 19th,The album Boogie 4 Stu, an 11-track tribute record to late Rolling Stones pianist and tour manager Ian Stewart, the album features brand new recordings by PJ Harvey and all four current Stones — Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Mick Jagger, and Charlie Watts — that was helmed by pianist Ben Waters. All proceeds for the project, which was mixed by the great producer Glyn Johns, will be donated to the British Heart Foundation. Standout tracks are said to include PJ Harvey’s take on the Doc Pomus-penned Ray Charles classic “Lonely Avenue,” recorded on Stewart’s piano, and the Stones covering Bob Dylan’s “Watching the River Flow.”
