THIS
BOOK was published at the same time as "A
Life On The Town" and is what's known in the business
as a 'spoiler'. With a superb hard back cover and a wrap-around
glossy sleeve, it sold for a pound less than the official book,
but was superior in several ways. The picture selection is fantastic
and although the text is basic, it is mostly accurate. The book
is designed better than "A
Life On The Town" and wear and tear wise stands the
test of time. A very nice book to own.
This book also contains a discography and a 'career calendar'
giving a chronological look at Rod's activities to early 1977.
Again, this is worth at least £20, but a copy in mint
condition would probably fetch more.
