Jimmy Roberts grew up in Virginia listening to the many sounds of R & B and Jazz ranging in styles from the funky and percussive, to the hard blowing sax sounds of Maceo Parker, Stanley Turentine and Junior Walker.
Somewhere while listening to these legends of music, Jimmy found his own sound, one that is hard driving and funky, yet smooth with a trademark tone that is unmistakable soulful and unmatchingly....Jimmy Roberts.

Jimmy is currently in the studio again recording a second album with Peter Roberts. The first album for The Roberts Bros. was "Sugar and Spice." He also has plans to do some touring with Rick Braun this summer.
