'Helping Haiti' single soars to UK No. 1
biggest first week sales since 2000

Helping Haiti's rendition of 'Everybody Hurts' has gone straight in at number one in the UK singles chart.
The single, which was arranged by Simon Cowell, features 21 artists including Rod, It recorded the biggest-first week sales of any single since 2000.
The money raised from sales of the track will be split between The Sun's Helping Haiti campaign and the Disasters Emergency Committee.
