Rod praises Haiti song choice
The song will be released on February 7th

Rod has said that REM's 'Everybody Hurts' was a perfect song choice for the forthcoming Haiti charity single.
Discussing the choice of 'Everybody Hurts' for the charity release, Rod told the Daily Star: "I can't think of a more fitting song to convey the unimaginable tragedy that is Haiti. I hope the record sales raise a lot of money because the country certainly needs it."
He also said that he is looking forward to hearing the final version and promised that it would be impressive.
Simon Cowell has announced the single will be available to download on February 7.
He also said that the track will be released in CD format the following day, February 8.
