ABOUT ROD - News, June 10, 2009: HARD LESSON TO LEARN

CALLING ALL ROD FANS...

Do you want to see Rod back where he belongs? Back in the singles charts with an original track and reminding the world of those glorious gravelly tones?

SMILER in association with The RodStewartChronicle are spearheading a campaign to get an original Rod track back up there and the recent release of new and rare material to ITunes has given us the opportunity.

THE PLAN
Hard Lesson To Learn is a track well loved by diehard Rod fans, but as it was only ever previously released as the b side of a 12 inch, it is relatively unheard outside of our circle. We are asking all Rod fans to download this track in the same week in an attempt to make the charts.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
First please ensure you have ITunes downloaded to your PC. Its free to download and easy to install (just follow the instructions).

Then during the week Monday 22nd June to Sunday 28th June please go to this link

and download the track Hard Lesson to Learn. It costs only 79 pence or 99 cents in the USA and payment can be made by Debit Card, Credit Card and Paypal. If you have previously downloaded it please "do so again"!
