FROM ‘Hot Legs’ to ‘Maggie May’ Rod Stewart is set to ‘Rock His Greatest Hits’ live at Plymouth’s Home Park on Thursday, July 2 and YOU could be joining him!
Well known for his love of football, the concert at Plymouth Argyle Football Club is the superstar’s only UK date this year and PAFC have teamed up with Plymouth’s Heart Radio all this week giving fans the chance to win tickets to the show AND meet the legendary singer.

With more than 40 years of countless hit albums and singles, the spectacular live show at Home Park will be packed to the brim with many of his greatest hits, including smashes, ‘Sailing’, ‘Have I Told You Lately’ and ‘Downtown Train’.
With one of the most distinctive voices in rock history, the characteristically throaty singer has sold more than 200 million records and continues to develop whole new audiences of fans with the ‘Songbook’ album series and more recently, the re-release of his 1993 classic album ‘Unplugged & Seated’.
CEO Liz Hobbs MBE, of concert producers Liz Hobbs Group Ltd, said: “This concert is now confirmed as Rod’s only UK summer date. It’s the only chance for fans to see Rod Stewart in the UK during 2009 and it’s sure to draw the crowds to Home Park for what is already being described as one of the greatest gig’s of the year!”
Argyle chairman Paul Stapleton said: "Rod Stewart is one of the biggest names in the music industry and we're expecting the concert to be a big draw to the city.
“The reputation and investment of the Pilgrims home ground has secured Home Park as a venue which not only provides first-class sporting facilities, but is also a recognized world-class concert venue attracting some of the biggest names in music”.
