I nearly jumped out of my chair. My dad is his biggest fan and I’ve been brought up with Rod, so I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’d love to!’ We sang Tonight’s The Night.

There was no time for rehearsal because we were in Europe and obviously had a show, so I literally had to fly into London at the last minute, run on stage to sing with him, then fly straight back out to the girls again and perform the next day.

Because it all happened so fast, I only got one guest ticket and I told my Dad he had to come. But I didn’t even get to see him; I just waved from the back of the TV studios and had to rush back off on tour. He was so proud'
