Thursday Night/Friday morning 17 January 12.35am-13.35am see's another showing of this classic documentary.
An intimate journey with Rod Stewart in 1976. BBC cameras followed Rod Stewart, at his rock superstar peak, during a visit to Europe with girlfriend Britt Ekland and while rehearsing with his new band in LA before recording A Night on the Town.the album that became Rod's first platinum album
The fly-on-the-wall footage with the domineering Britt and the cheeky Rod is documentary filmmaking at its best - and highly amusing. We follow the couple as they travel to Capital Radio where Rod is being interviewed, to a photo shoot outside the Houses of Parliament and relaxing in their suite at The Savoy.
Rod's passion for football is also evident as he plays and supports his team.
The film finishes with Rod playing with his new band and a performance of the now -classic Maggie May.
